State your Interior

State your Interior

Magnify your Space

Since the Heian period, traditional Japanese palaces have been designed around gardens - artworks in themselves - with interiors adorned with paintings that bring the harmony of nature indoors. Inspired by this tradition, my photographs capture nature’s subtle beauty on film .With their soft tones and delicate colors, they harmonize seamlessly with interior spaces, creating the impression of nature brought into your home.

Interior design is a deeply personal expression, involving creativity, aesthetics, and thoughtful composition to create a harmonious space. Like any form of art, it reflects the owner’s personality or conveys the identity of a workplace. This subtle atmosphere deserves to be fully expressed. My photographs, like Japanese screen paintings, serve an architectural role, enhancing the ambiance of a room by creating a dialogue between the world within the image and the space it inhabits. By displaying one of these works, you affirm the artistic identity of your space and you make a statement about the interior design you have created, giving it a distinctive presence and meaning.

Choosing the Perfect Artwork

To help you find the ideal artwork, you can browse the collection by colors, seasons, natural elements, or series titles. Will a natural stone carving from the Brittany coast reflect your office’s character? Is your living room as serene as Lake Geneva on a still spring evening? Do autumn leaves whisper through your bedroom’s atmosphere?

With their evocative style, my photographs also make meaningful gifts. Open to personal interpretation, they allow each viewer to connect with them through their own memories, emotions, or dreams.

I take great care to ensure that the colors and details displayed on your screen are as true to the final print as possible. However, variations may occur due to differences in monitor settings. If you require further technical assurances regarding image resolution or color accuracy before making a purchase, do not hesitate to contact me. My goal is to ensure that your experience is as seamless and satisfying as possible.

Seasons as Work of Arts

My artistic approach is guided by cultural themes, which inspire different series of photographs. Each series consists of four images, plus a complementary fifth. While each work is an independent piece, I personally prefer displaying them in curated sets of four of the same series. As an incentive for collectors, when purchasing a full set, you receive the fourth image as a gift, and shipping is complimentary worldwide.

Following a Japanese Muromachi era tradition, where aristocrats changed their scroll paintings twice a year, and in harmony with the subtle transitions of the seasons that shape my work, I introduce new series twice annually: the Spring/Summer season on March 21 and the Autumn/Winter season on September 21. This offers you the opportunity to gently renew the ambiance of your interior, bring a fresh seasonal touch to your space, or simply reflect a new state of mind. Here are the links for the current season and the permanent collection.
