Collector Oriented
I have chosen to release my Interior
Art Project exclusively through this website. While I do not
operate a physical gallery, my collectors—spread across the globe—serve as my
most valued ambassadors. The vast majority of my customers come through
personal recommendations, and as such, ensuring
your complete satisfaction is my highest priority.
Collector-Oriented
Edition
The original prints of the Interior Art
Project are strictly limited to a
definitive total of 30 prints all sizes and all mountings. This limit
complies with French law regarding works of art (code general des Impôts,
annexe III, article 98A), one of the most stringent in the world to qualify a
work of art. My Artist
Statement describes more specifically my approach.
My print production is collector-oriented, ensuring that you
can acquire your chosen image in a custom finish while maintaining the
exclusivity of the collection. Within the limit of 30 prints, sizes and
mounting options remain unrestricted. However, once all 30 prints of a given
photograph are sold, no further originals will be produced. This practice,
standard in fine art photography galleries, ensures scarcity and contributes to
the appreciation of a work’s value over time.
Each of the 30 original prints is
secured with an Arttrust™ seal and certificate, making them trackable by
collectors. Additionally, each print comes with a dated and hand-signed certificate of authenticity, detailing the
artistic concept behind the photograph.
Many of my new clients discover my work
after seeing an actual print in a collector’s home. I deeply appreciate these personal recommendations. As a token of gratitude,
collectors who introduce new buyers receive a special gift.
Archival
Paper and Museum-Quality Mountings
Chromogenic Film and Prints. All photographs are
taken on Fuji Velvia 100 professional chromogenic medium-format film, the
reference for landscape photography. Known for its vivid yet natural color
reproduction, this film captures the finest details, intricate textures, and
transient light of each scene. My artistic vision demands precise and
harmonious color fidelity to convey the emotions experienced in nature.
Moreover, Velvia’s delicate tonal transitions offer a more harmonious integration into interior designs than the excessive and
artificial sharpness of digital photography enhancing the surrounding space
without overpowering it. (more about film on Film
Photography page).
Durst Lambda Printing: A Gold Standard. Each image is
printed using the Durst Lambda process, ensuring exceptional color accuracy.
This method exposes the print using three continuous-tone lasers (red, green,
and blue), achieving an impressive 68 billion colors. The image is then
developed in traditional silver halide baths, resulting in a chromogenic print,
which offer a dye stability of approximately 100 years in typical home display
conditions (away from direct sunlight and high humidity. The Chromogenic print
is the gold standard for fine art
photography in museums and galleries worldwide. How these quality prints
can enhance your interior is on the State
Your Interior page.
Museum-Quality Finishes. The printing and
mounting process is entrusted to Pictorial
Service in Paris, a prestigious photographic laboratory founded in 1950.
Pictorial Service is part of photography’s history, having developed the works
of Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, and other leading
European photographers.
